If productive, is it coloured...green, yellow?
How do you feel in yourself......temperature? eating well?
For the cough...go into the chemist and ask for an over the counter cough medicine e.g Benylin or something similar.
For the nasal blockage, Vick's sinex nasal spray is as good as anything.

It sounds as though you have developed bronchitis, but still haven't answered my question re. the colour of your sputum or if you feel ill.
I am not a fan of nasal inhalations as they are "faffy" and not very convenient, particularly if you are still at work. However, they are popular and worth a try.
Benylin.....yes it is an expectorant, that is it helps to bring up the sputum.
The bottom line here is...do you feel ill? If the answer is yes, then you need to see your doctor as it may be asthma or some other lung problem.
