Condenser Draw Not Filling

I have a kenwood kcd1w condenser tumble dryer, the drawer is not filling but heat is on and motor is fine. Also I'm not seeing any leakage although it is drying clothes which is strange. Any ideas heroes?

My condensor drawer doesn't fill either - it is pumped straight down the drain.

Is this a new problem?

Same model? I didn't realise that they have a drain off, I thought that was the whole point of the condenser.

My Candy condenser holds the water in the machine then dumps it in the reservoir in two or three big goes
