I'm going to be positive rather than negative and give this hint. Potassium ions are positive. Think about the other ions mentioned. I think it's to do with that- although I'm not absolutely positive. there is no charge for his answer.

I think it must have taken longer to type in the question than read the relevant pages in the chapter 'ionic bonding - positive and negative ions'
