I often want to copy snippets from Answerbank to Email to friends. As soon as you highlight the bit of text with a mouse the whole page is highlighted.

Any workaround for this please ?

Just found the Answer ......On Answerbank

Hold down the control key and then left click on the section you want to highlight and copy.

That works, but only with a paragraph at a time. If you need to copy longer answers, the best bet is to download Mozilla Firefox...it's free. That - as opposed to Internet Explorer - allows you to highlight, copy and paste whatever you want in a oncer.

if you tap/click 3 times on the paragraph it will highlight

(sound like a magic trick doesn't it...lol)

also, for large bits I just copy the whole page, put it in word, then copy the bit i want from the there and delete the leftovers

Thanks Nice One ! How do you know that joko ?. All Windows tips all go on my collection of Post-It notes which I then lose.
Now joko's answer is what the AB is all about. Good question with good practical answers. Nice one.

why thank you! praise indeed.

i just discovered it from frustration i think...

tellboy - Why not make a word document of all your word tips and save a shortcut to your desktop - one click and there it will be.
