Have Anyone's Postcards Taken Longer Than Mine ?

Last Easter I sent a number of postcards from Algiers to friends and family in UK. They have Just started to arrive !!!

No. The only bad experience I had was once when I gave a load of postcards to a hotel reception with the money for stamps and they said they would post them for me. They made their way back to the UK somehow but without stamps!

I always put postcards in addressed envelopes I take with me. Found they get to their destinations quicker thgan just a postcard

Some aren't delivered for years. Wasn't that long ago there was a news story about some arriving that were posted during one of the World Wars.

I have written some in the past and handed them to the kind tour rep, who said she'd put them in the postbox for me as she was passing, and I'm still waiting for them to be received. And that was decades ago.
