morning Fraser xx
It's unbelievable, go to Vermont or Sweden - in the former, you could have 3 or 4 feet of snow and, lo and behold, not only are the main roads clear by 8am but also the side roads in housing areas....for drives, folk put in hot-oil tracing under the surface.

Germany also keep the roads clear. One winter it was so severe that the armies were called in to help, German, British, French, Dutch and American had every possible vehicle that could, had a dozer blade or snowplough blade fitted. Tanks, personnel carriers, Land Rovers, everything.
time for me to be budging.....have a good one all and take care those of you with Heaven's Dandruff out there.
