We know sqad is itching to know (he can get cream for that you know) ...
... so what's on your plate??
I've got visitors arriving soonish - they are getting a very nice soup made from the leftovers of yesterday's pot roasted lamb and carrots.
Then they can have my cross-cultural favourite of fish fingers in pitta bread with sweet chilli sauce and some green crap (salad is not good in January).
All washed down with some Chateua Aldista Carmenere.
Hear tell them Feds is prowlin' round so gotta close the still. Gonna cross the hootchercootie bridge, head into Soggy Bottom, and swazlle me some wobbly pops until Ma stuey hollers out that victuals be ready.
Rye smorrebdod smeared with avocado/mayo & toppings of smoked salmon, sliced egg, red cavier, prawns, pancetta and thinly grilled zucchini. Followed by eton mess & Wairu cove sauvignon (tesco offer)
They do, don't they, Ummmm? A little bit of oozing is ok. A lot of oozing means a soggy mess. Mine was lovely and crispy. I smashed up a packet of crisps and put that on top. Scrummy.
I managed to reduce the ooze factor in fish pie by microwaving the potatoes for the mash, cutting down the moisture. I was very impressed by someone, can't recall who, having chip sandwiches, hope the crusts were cut off being so posh, I have chip butties.
