Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

?18 but to be quite honest I haven't got a clue. Thank you I will now be returning to this throughout this evening and possibly tomorrow!

All I can see is that if you add the 4&3 and takeaway from 12 you get the 5 and then if you add the 3&9 and takeaway the 16 you get the 4 but lost after that.

Add the 17 and 20 and take off the 12 and 16 for the 13

Just asked my maths whizz 10 year old and she said it doesn't make any sense although she is familiar with the layout.

Pixie 17 and 20... Etc I'm lost please explain as if I am a 6 year old and cannot even tie my shoe laces!

Just run this past the daughter (19) who has always been excellent at Maths (takes after her father you know). She says, if it is for a 6 year old, are we looking too deeply? Her answer would be 4

Add circles 4 + 3 + 5 gives you box 12
Add circles 3 + 9 + 4 gives you box 16
So just add
Circles 5 + 4 + ? to give you box 13

Any sense?
