Bit capitalist isn't it? Do they not already have the right to buy via the stock market? Perhaps they can then pay themselves loads of money like they're always striking for! Genius!

Who are they that are always striking ?

The only recent large strikes I can recall have been by public sector workers such as firemen, teachers and doctors. As far as I know, fire-stations, schools and the NHS are not actually "buyable", not even by the rich.
Of course, as things are under the present government, the last-named employer above probably will effectively be "sold" to the rich sooner rather than later!

so why don't the "workers" buy them and run them as they see fit?
And where do they propose the cash comes from?

Oh, the tax payers of course.
