Only if they are criticising someone else's spelling, I think.
good point pixy,
Thanks sej
I only take umbrage if someone spells my name wrongly.
I couldn't be bothered if someone's spelling is wrong. I frequently type too fast and make silly errors. I am sorry to hear about your friend TWR.
some people have nothing to bring but they want to join in so they nit pick irrelevancies. There are often unintended errors and the person knows what is wrong but it is too late to correct and usually irrelevant to the discussion anyway. For what it's worth I rarely feel the need to correct others spelling and grammar.
were you perhaps berating other people's sins at the time this happened?
Why is that then, wrongly ?
No sin but this is fun

A la Pixie, I doubt TW was criticising anyone's spelling.
so TWR can criticise my politics but I can't criticise his spelling? Tough.
Grow up, trot.
