Is there anyone out there who either has PCOS or knows of someone who does and can answer this question. What diet plan actually helps with weight loss? I've tried the GI as recommended in numerous books but it's not working anymore, I lost half a stone and now nothing I'm actually putting weight on. I've tried a low carb high protein diet lost 1 stone in 3 weeks but because of the PCOS whcih in turn makes you seriously crave carbohydrates I put all the weight back on within a month. I'm obviously on the pill to help the symptoms which isn't helping, please dont suggest coming off of it it's not an option. I exercise 3 times a week for at least 2 hours at a time. I really need help, has anyone got any suggestions, I can't shift it! I need to loose 2 stone...Anymore suggestions? Please

She was having difficulty conceiving so she was on the pill for 6 months and was prescribed Xenical to help with the weight and she managed to drop a couple of stone but it was still difficult. She kept focusing on her desire to get pregnant. You need something to motivate you. Not sure what your reason is for losing weight but try to identify a goal and keep at it.
Best of luck.

(The suggestion, given on that page, of asking your GP to refer you to a dietician seems a very sensible one).
