Hoaxes like these have always been a pain and of course they have a copycat effect and there's usually a flurry of them - if only they could catch the culprits.

I heard on the radio this morning that there is a school who have set aside a special room for all the children to go to if there is an attack.

They had air raid shelters during WW2.

I do wonder if a school would be a step too far even for Daesh. If they did that you could pretty much guarantee 50% of mosques razed to the ground in the following 24 hours.

I wouldn't put anything past Daesh. These are people who behead babies and crucify kids don't forget. Not to mention corrupting young minds to see and do terrible atrocities!!

Not sure anyone has said forget about terrorists, however these crank hoaxes have been going on for years in many forms - of course they must be taken seriously but also put into perspective.

Yes I can remember being about to sit down to the delights of another school lunch when a hoax caller claiming to be from the IRA rescued us and we were all herded outside
Don't know if it's more dangerous these days : but these are hoax calls I believe - which are despicable but probably not dangerous as such
