Avoiding Passing On A Cold.
6 Answers
I have, as above, a nasty cold. I generally take it that it's really 'active' and infectious as long as I'm sneezing - which I have been for three days. Runny nose, watering eyes, and this morning a sore throat. I run Tai Chi classes and have one later today and am wondering whether I need to cancel.
I've been looking for official guidelines as to when these things are most likely to be infectious but it's very vague - can anyone help me out please?

I can't answer your question but can understand why the guidelines are vague. Two weeks ago I drove 140 miles to and from a meeting. My companion coughed and sneezed all the way there and back, and the speaker was even worse with eyes streaming and nose blowing. All the right conditions for catching a cold but I didn't.
