Yes it was good to see a power clash between John and Rob - hope this continues as some people seem to have a problem with the Rob/Helen storyline

What is puzzling me is....how old is Scruff?
He originally belonged to Daniel Archer (Shula's son) but had to go to stay with Linda because he was too boisterous around the horses.
Daniel had his 21st birthday last year, so Scruff must be ancient now.
Any ideas anyone?

Scruff didn't appear until Daniel was in his early teens, as I remember.. so, adding everything up, Scruff is, at youngest, 10 or 11 years old. Say I'm wrong and Scruff was a year or 2 older - he is still within normal canine life-limitatations. :)

Nope, mikey. Pip and Matthew have the right feeling. They've even got the 'star-crossed lovers'- bit with his contract only being temporary built in.

Rob was really awful tonight about the maternity tops Helen had ordered. Has he spent all that money?

Already some of locals have begun to see through Robs image. I'm not sure Tom will put up with his interfering much longer, and Kirsty will soon stop telephoning and will investigate for herself....deep down, she knows the real truth !

Pat confided in Rob about Helen's anorexia returning. This gave him an excuse to have a go at her family, saying they should keep their noses out. Otherwise, it all lovey dovey with Ruth and David.

Apparently she is showing all the symptoms which wives in her situation exhibit, and her self esteem is getting lower and lower to the extent that she is beginning think everything is her fault.
