Pancakes

Eccles - my one remaining girlie laid me a nice brown egg this morning. But Mr BM will undoubtedly have it for his brekkie tomorrow. I have jacket spuds tonight. POintless cooking pancakes for one.

I'm disappointed because Mrs JtH wants me to make her one.....I'd have made more batter if I'd known. :o(

My son hasn't come home so they'll be no pancakes in this house. He's probably at his mates house scoffing them...

Barmaid, I have one that is about to drop off her perch.

I wish I could encourage them to lay in the nest box, ferreting in undergrowth in search of their offerings is no fun when Storm Imogen is doing her stuff.

If I was making pancakes they'd likely be crepes with just lemon and sugar. If I fancied something more satisfying I'd go for fritters with sweet corn and chilli with guacamole....if courgettes were in season I might be tempted to have them with feta and mint with tzatziki on the side.

I think I might go and squeeze a chook to see what pops out, I'm now feeling peckish.....
