They were all at it to differing degrees, and would have all known all the others were at it....get rid of the lot of them, top to bottom and start again or create a new governing body

I've bee saying the same for years, the international FAs should just leave and establish another world body. A few big ones and the rest would follow.

Agree, you wonder why they have not done it. Unless of course they are on the back end of a few bungs themselves?

I agree but it don't happen. It would mean no World Cup (result! as far as I am concerned) for a start. And a breakaway would almost certainly a lead to a split in World football with the more dubious operations carrying on more or less as they pleased with no regulation. It is a scandal that Russia is being allowed to stage the next World Cup . But there you go. When push comes to shove no one really wants to take the tough decisions.

the new body would hold their world cup ich, hopefully, FIFA would die off as all the big nations would join the new body. The corrupt would be left playing among themselves or cleaning up and joining the new body. Other sports have shown the way. Boxing is not a good example however.
