answer a question and then delete it? I do, very often. I am very aware that the words in print are not what they would be verbally.

I find myself doing the same.
LOL...all the time, but if it is pretty close to what i mean...I just leave it.
My typing is so slow, that by the time i am coming to the end of the sentence, I have forgotten what i wanted to say..LOL
Yes, I sometimes do that, especially if humour is involved. Humour in print is not the same as humour verbally, or, face to face.
Yes lots, usually when I've been more outspoken than my usual self and then thought I don't want the flak.
Do I ***
Sometimes, yes - I find I have got it out of my system and don't need to press submit.
Sometimes. More often, I start typing and can`t be bothered to elaborate so I cut my answer short because I don`t see the point of talking into the ether.
Occasionally. Usually when, after reading, I decide the answer isn't as much help as I thought it would be. On rare occasions because I think some may not take the humour well.
I am watching a DVD of the Bridge and am astonished how badly the Scandinavians dress, particularly the women.
What has this got to do with the thread?............nothing.
No. But often wish I had. There should be a tick box after you press submit, I think, which says "are you sure you really want to post that out loud??"
Scandinavians don`t dress as badly as the British (and Americans)
^^^ LOL....maybe i should watch other Scandinavian DVD.s, as the Chief Investigating officer of Malmo is rubbish, I would n't touch her with Talbot's.
Sqad - now I`m wondering what kind of Scandinavian DVD you are watching
Oh right. I was just thinking when I used to go up to Stockholm and watch the TV there. Let`s just say, it wasn`t Coronation Street. I was quite shocked!
LOL ^^^ but in those that your are talking about, clothing is a minor feature.
I lived and worked in Sweden 40 odd years ago. It was ..... liberating and a lot
of fun.
Sometimes ask for an answer on the crosswords section and as I type in the word I see the answer before me!
