Hello folks.....for those that remember me lol
We decided to change tariff with EE and on the due date, instead of changing it, EE simply cut off our internet.
After spending hours on the phone listening to tinny voices on a different continent, I finally got through to someone I could hear and understand. He explained they had cut us off in error but it would take up to 15 working days to re-connect us (How does that work?????????). It actually took 17 working days grrrrr.
My only highlight during the whole sorry saga was when speaking to the (very) young man who sorted it out. He gave me his forename and when I asked for his surname he replied
"It is Bolam....as in James Bolam from T.Rex."

Good grief Boaty hope you don't regret doing that, bet TT fell overselves to help as they are so desperate for customers! I can't get out of a contract with them and they are a complete nightmare .....

Mrs O - yes you should be entitled to compensation, I would chase that, what a situation and it wasn't your fault!
Welcome back Mrs Overload - always a pleasure!

Welcome back MrsO, it should not have taken so long.
Ah, Mrs Oooooomygoooood! Hope you're back to your old self. Actually.....no.....I hope you're better than that :-)
Have just looked up T Rex to see who you meant. Getting old. So glad to know you're in contact with the world again. Hope you weren't affected by the floods I read about in Whitby. I can't bear to think of being without Internet connection for 17 days. It must have been awful for you - well, you do live up North!
Welcome back Mrs O.

Have you tried these new colouring books for adults? They are supposed to be very good for stress?
We missed you. Glad to see you back!
