Sealed Car Battery... Safe To Charge?
4 Answers
Having done a lot of short journeys in the last few months (mainly at night with lights on) and the recent cold nights we've had, my car battery is labouring to start the engine in the mornings and sounding like it's about to give up.
The last time I charged a 12 volt battery (motorcycle) it had caps/plugs on each chamber which had to be removed whilst charging in order to release gasses/pressure, also allowing for topping up with distilled water.
Is it safe to put a sealed battery on a low charge for a few hours?
