Many drinks claim to contain no 'artificial sweeteners' or 'no sugar'
Until you look at the small print of the ingredients
And I wonder how many people expect their beaker of bizarrely flavoured take away coffee to contain 25 spoonfuls ...
If the daily mash isn't real......what's the link to. I think woof might mean it's not a proper newspaper but I supposed if you're confused by that you might need it explaining that sweet things contain loads of sugar!
It was on Sky news yesterday and other media today so the Daily Mash being 'real' or not is irrelevant.
bazza, yes many of the general public are thick, that is why they should not have a vote. the remainder dont care and are probably just supping their drink whilst waddling on their way to that well know High Street vendor of pastries and sweetmeats.
Who on earth would buy a coffee if they knew it contained 25 spoons of sugar, I have drank it in the past, I assumed it contained sugar but not that much!
Very funny. I think I'll read the Daily Mash more often. I love the T-shirt they're advertising. "life is meaningless and every thing dies" with a pic of cartoon cats.
As far as I am aware (and I've watched them make it) the coffee shop simply brews the coffee, depending on the one ordered may add milk, then passes it to me to add my own sugar/sweetener. If I have chosen a 'special' with syrup of course there will be a little more sugar in it.
I don't recognise these apparently fruity ones referred to. But if one buys a 'Venti' or equivalent size then of course whatever is in it will be to the max. I think that size is designed for a coachload to share.
Ive always assumed these fancyschmancy coffees etc were full of sugar, ok I didnt know exactly how much but I just assumed it was a plantations worth...who knew ?
Next theyll be telling us drinks like coke etc are full of sugar...oh hold on !...
And I know the Daily mash isnt real !...but its damn funny and pretty much always nails it right on the head its spot on...
PS: be careful of sugar its got sugar in, oh and cake, and jam and, and and......
