I also get this with sites freezing, even happens to google earth sometimes. Graphics driver says it stopped responding as well. Then comes back on. This is with a new laptop running windows 10.
Edge was released before it was truly finished, because MS were desperate to get it into Windows 10. Windows 10 also includes Internet Explorer, so you can switch to that or as mushroom25 says, Firefox, or, of course, any one of a number of other browsers, such as Chrome.
To change to Internet Explorer, go to Settings/Systems/Default Apps, scroll down to "Web browser", click on Microsoft Edge, and then select Internet Explorer from the list.
