I think it is very comical, wish my neighbours had such a sense of humour

I really cannot see the point of this (not a pun) as a penis shaped tree to inject humour into the neighborhood is a non starter.
One can see what happens on AB when one tries to inject sexual humour into some threads......
The outcry would have been overwhelming if he had created a vagina-like tree..............
Stupid.

We live in a society with other people, and that carries certain responsibilities.
One of those responsibilities is being aware and sensitive to the fact that not everyone thinks the same, or finds the same things amusing.
Do I think this is funny? Not especially, but my reaction is more concerned with the fact that this person is inflicting his humour on his neighbours and casual passers-by who don’t have an option of avoiding it.
That is misuse of the freedoms society gives us.
Got a back garden that is not overlooked? Terrific – plant it there and have a great laugh with your family and friends.
But to inflict your own sense of humour on strangers who may not share it, simply because you think they should, is not funny.
