My mother says she doesn't know what she did with the remote but she could only get BBC 1&2.I went round did a full scan twice and now she gets all the channels except 1&2.Any ideas please?

I would delete all the channels and do a fresh scan from scratch.

^Yes, good idea. You can return telly's to Factory Mode and start again, as it were.

only problem going back to factory settings is that your mother will lose any programmes she has recorded and not yet watched, this happened to us. if it is a free view box/ BT box. ring their helpline for solution
