private tuition charges

Hi,

Does anyone know roughly how much I can expect to pay for some extra tuition for my 9 year old. She needs help in Maths and English. I'm in Oldham.

i knew a child who had language lessons in oldham and they paid around �15 per hour, once a week, although she was a bit older. there are always numbers in the chron' so just enquire.

Cheers. She goes to a sort of 'saturday school' for a couple of hours but I think she needs more one to one assistance. I pay �10 for two hours there which is quite good value then.

A lot depends on the tutor's qualifications. I teach music and charge �20 an hour but should be charging upwards of �50 which I think is criminal!!!
