Have just had a new computer with Windows 10 and should I have Internet explorer downloaded.
Should I put this on my computer.

Browndmb I would give the new edge browser a whirl that is already on there with w10. Internet Explorer is woeful and I would not download until you have tried edge. I love it. I am now running 'She Who Must be Obeyed's' BT email and front page on her account. At first BT used to flag up that w10 and edge were not supported, but she now prefers it also.

Windows 10 includes a newer Microsoft Web Browser called 'EDGE' which replaces Internet Explorer. You should find 'EDGE' in your list of installed APPS and as an icon on your taskbar.

As an alternative you could download and try out additional Web browsers for example Firefox, Opera, Chrome available at:-

Windows 10 also includes Internet Explorer - you don't need to download it. Edge may be a good browser when they get round to finishing it, but at the moment it's rubbish.

Internet Explorer is the most unsecure browser which is why Microsoft have replaced it with Edge and hidden Internet Explorer in Windows 10.

You are much better with Chrome or Firefox.

Try them all, you can have as many different browsers on your computer as you like.
