Keep Losing Ab
Could any one help me please. I am operating on Windows7. I use I.E., Mozilla Firefox and chrome. Just recently I have found that when I post an answer the answer will register on the thread but the screen goes blank and depending who I am using at the time,usually chrome, I get a small box in centre of screen saying retry or page cannot be found.
I click on answerbank on the toolbar at top of the screen and I get the web page with various Answerbank headings.Click on the top choice and I am back into AB again. I also lose AB when I click on my profile.
Help most appreciated but please keep advise as simple as possible. TIA. :-)

It doesn't restore after a few minutes on its own. I also got that stutter effect for a while which you commented on. Answers were posted 3 times. That seems to have stopped now but I noticed it happened to Svejk a litttle time back. :-(
@retrocop
I've been getting the slow/stuttery text input box, recently. I blame the animated adverts and just keep hitting the page reload button until the response to key inputs returns to normal.
Using Safari on a phone. Possibly too many pages open at once, especially multiple AB pages. Java does not run in Safari but does in IE/Firefox. If each tab is running its own script, loading ads even when a tab is in the background then your connection will be trying to download umpteen animated ads all at once and it slows to a crawl.
Firefox lets you disable Java and only switch it on when a favourite site says it needs it.
You could uninstall Java completely (quick way to find out which of your favoured sites need it).
Update it regularly, if you do use it. Search your computer for "Java Console" and use that to initiate the download/install.

Thank you all for your time and input which really is most appreciated. I seem to dimly recall I may of idly tapped on a Chrome update invitation recently.
I will take FruigalFreds suggestion first and un install chrome and see what happens. I will get back with progress I hope. Thanks again. Don't go away!

The old quote DTC?
Lucy Ricardo: Are you asking me to leave?
Tallulah Bankhead: 'Throwing you out' would be more appropriate.
Lucy Ricardo: Let me tell you something, Tallulah Bankhead, I've been thrown out of better places than this!
Tallulah Bankhead: You have never BEEN in better places than this!
