It's probably nothing, but yesterday while having a coffee with a friend, I leaned over to the next chair where my bag was and whacked my forehead on the corner of the back of the chair. It shot my head straight back and a lump came immediately above my left eye. My friend went to the lady behind the counter to get ice for me, and the lady thought it was for my friend's little girl, not me at first. I had tears streaming down my face from the pain. (I am rather clumsy though).
Anyway, to cut a long story short, this morning I started to get a little neck pain which got worse during the day, so much so it's now stiff. My back and left shoulder hurts too (I suppose from keeping it as still as poss). But I've now got a horrible dull ache in mu upper left arm and tingling sensations in the hand. Just need to know if you think it may be all connected. Have been really stressed lately and the arm thing is a little worrying. Plus I have a nice lump and bruise on my forehead which hurts still.
Do you think it's just an ibuprofen job?
Thanks for taking the time to read all this.

my advice is get yourself to your nearest A&E as soon as possible
I agree - the tingling in your hand and ache in your arm make me think you should seek medical advice pronto. I got hit in the face (left eyebrow) with a cricket ball a few years ago, and felt very strange and 'disengaged' for about a week, as well as having the mother of swollen black eyes! No problems with my arms/hands, though, so best be on the safe side, and seek help.

Yes, I do.

Clearly you have "shaken up" your cervical spine( neck) and although I do not know your age, you may well have had some arthritic changes and a nerve may have been irritated giving you the problems in your left arm.
It should settle within a week (arm symptoms and lump)
Keep the Ibuprofen flowing.

Thanks all. I actually went for a massage today and it seems to have helped. Just a bit of a stiff neck.
Feedback much appreciated.
