Tvs In Prison
Can a prisoner refuse a tv in his cell?
I was last in prison in 2002 (when tvs were becoming popular in jails)
I was just wondering if a prisoner can actually refuse an in cell tv as prisoners are charged for the 'privilege' whether they want one or not.
Also, as most cells are 'twoed up' how would it work if one con wants a tv and the other one doesnt?
Thanks,

The punishment is the removal from normal life not the prison itself.
As I have said on here several times 75% of ALL prisoners NEVER work again such is the stigma against employing 'ex cons' This applies even to those given very short sentences of 6 months or less!
