Quite an endorsement, given that Ashoka Mody is very experienced and has no discernible political motive. The article is worth 10 minutes of your time I believe. The out argument gathers more credence daily.

no I do not agree the out agrgument fgathers credence
I know that AB is hardly the place for any analysis
Modi says it worked differently previously and had differnet aims ( coal and steel agreement and Tr of Rome 1957 )
then he says there have been more changes
He goes onto to criticise the governance of the union
and concludes from the analysis that he doesnt really know what will happen - or as the stock analysts say - past performance is no guide to what will occur in the future
well he would wouldnt he ?
anyway thanks for the URL

But Brexit campaigners were given a boost at yesterday’s conference when John Longworth, director-general of the BCC, said Britain could have a “brighter” economic future outside the EU.
The business leader, whose organisation won’t campaign in the referendum, said: "The long-term risks of staying in the EU are likely to be as daunting as the short-term risks of leaving".
He added: "The dynamism and resilience of the City of London and the UK business sector suggest to me that, in the long run, we have the capacity and capability to create a bright - if not brighter - economic future outside of the EU, just as we would have done had we had the opportunity to stay in a truly reformed EU.
Never heard of him either?

The BCC were crowing earlier in the week that the quango was 60/30 in favour of remaining. Why haven't they suspended themselves for showing bias towards the pro EUSSR camp followers. It is a further demonstration that we are not just dealing with 'project fear', the establishment is prepared to bully and intimidate people to try and silence them. Perhaps the BCC cannot come up with a sound counter argument. As the out voice gets louder and the lies of the in brigade are exposed we will see where the paranoia grows. As yet not one single point has been made by the in 'slaves' that has not been shown to be false or down right untrue.
Wow a realist writing for the Independent. They must have finally woken up to the fact that their clique of reality dodging champagne Leftist hacks had rendered much of their output unreadable by rational people.
Boris has had a good day. It's just I can't believe that in some way David
and Boris planned all of this a long time ago, not on the playing fields of Eton but maybe about three years ago.

Even the leader of the British Chamber Of Commerce backs OUT. He has been suspended though !.

We have to get out. Think about it next time some Clerkson clone is tailgating you in his Merc or Audi or VW. They will be the losers not us.
England is dying under the weight of humanity it is burdened by and things are getting worse every year another 200,000 come in. To keep up we need to build a city the size of Hull every year before we even begin to address the existing housing shortage.
And on top of that Merkyl decided to create a precedent that now makes the EU Assad's human dustbin.
