Sacking doesn't always mean inevitable failure in future jobs (e.g. Tony Pulis was sacked by Pompey, but has done great things since - certainly achieving far more than Newcastle have since then)

Yes, it's clearly ridiculous to appoint a manager who's been sacked elsewhere.

For example, what the hell were the Leicester City board thinking of when they appointed a manager who'd been sacked by Valencia, Parma and Juventus, as well as by two national sides (Monaco and Greece)? It was obviously a completely stupid thing to do!

Oh, hang on a minute though, aren't Leicester doing rather well nowadays?

Buenchico @ 19:56) You must've missed my post @ 14:10:-) And Monaco are not a national side, they are a French Ligue 1 outfit - he took them up from Ligue 2 and they finished the 2013/14 season in 2nd place behind PSG. He was rewarded with the sack in 2014!
