can anyone help ?when i try to go onto the internet i get a message saying leads not plugged in , but they are and i cannot get onto the internet, its driving me mad

There is no message that says "leads not plugged in". How do you connect to the internet and what is the exact message?

Kerplunk my computer also has a small icon on my task bar and the exact words it says is:Local Area Connection A network cable is unplugged but my computer is working.I have been on to my ISP and they told me not to worry about it as long as my computer is logged on to the internet which it is.

mollytessa,is there anyway you can get in touch with your ISP,there could be something wrong with your telephone point are you on dialup or broadband you need telephone filters if it's broadband.

As I said, there is no message which reads "leads not plugged in". We cannot help properly unless the EXACT error message is given, otherwise we would be guessing at the fix. As I I said before. How do you connect to the internet and what is the exact message?
