The Domes Yard 10

Heard the leader of the British Opposition Party - Michael Howard on 'Breakfast with Frost' just now refering to someone as having found 'The Dome's Yard 10' can anyone explain to me what this means. He was discussing looking for a way to solve a problem financially. God knows we need that......... Top of the morning to you all.

Apparantly, Yard 10 was a space at the Millenium Dome where millions of poundsworth of surplus, unwanted, misordered etc material was stored. Howard and the Tories maintain that similarly the Government wastes hundreds of millions of pounds through inefficiency and waste, which is then "hidden" somewhere in the system, in a metaphorical Yard 10. Every Opposition makes such claims; and every Government pledges to run a tight, efficient ship - yawn, yawn!
