Children enjoying life and its simple pleasures make me smile too.
My twin nephews make me smile because they're at that age where you can have a conversation with them and they say the funniest things!
I love going for a drive xmas morning and seeing all the little kids out on their new bikes with their big smiles while mum/dad holds onto the back. :-)

Cycling home yesterday a little boy with his mum started waving to me, so I waved back. He continued to wave, so did I, and we both burst out giggling.

It's what life's all about boobesque. It's surprising how many people smile back if you smile at them. There's fortunately still lots to smile about out there in this big world - such a shame that some people fail to see it.

Smile everyone - it's Friday, bank holiday weekend and it's pouring with rain ;o)

holding my nephew and niece whilst they are sleeping. :o)

I was in a supermarket yesterday and there was this gorgeous little boy about a year old being pushed round in a trolley. He had big blue eyes and a mop of red hair.As I passed him he just beamed at me and said hello, grinning away.So I said hello back, then he said it again etc .His mum and I were laughing our heads off at this point.Made me smile for ages.

Every year I give a crisp 50 note to the paperboy/girl at Christmas.

For less than 1 per week the poor souls have to go out of their way for my house, walk up a rather long drive and suffer the indignity of an old fashioned brass letterbox. On top of that I have two newspapers everyday and sometimes three on Sundays.

Fifty quid is a lot of money to a spotty 14 year old and their little faces light up. I feel like Scrooge when he buys presents for the Tiny Tim.

i went to pick my dad up yesterday and before i went my son said " can i have a kiss dad" i went to kiss him and he had a chocolate goaty beard with ice cream hands!! but his eyes where angelic!! made me smile for hours!!
My Daughter is 17 months and is so beautiful and cheeky, i cant help but smile when ever i see her. Que warm fuzzy feeling :o)
Another thing that makes me smile is our clients at work ringing up to tell us they've got a job and want to thank us for our help, especially when they can't quite believe it. Very heart-warming.
well my granddaughter made me smile yesterday when she informed me that she was going to start learning to drive today....somewhere in the Derby area there's a 3 year old behind the wheel today, you have been warned! :o)
Robinia, that has made me smile, well LOL actually.
My nephew who is 3 1/2 makes me smile every saturday morning when he toddles down the drive with whatever he has decided to bring round in a bag (normally his green frog one!) and beams at me when I open the door (always have to wait till he's knocked with his little knuckles!!). He normally brings round a whole heap of animal toys and he then takes them out individually, putting them behind his back and revealing them once we have guessed what it is!! Bearing in mind he has a lot of animals this can take quite a while!!! I can't help but smile at the little things he does.

God WM! I bet the paper boys in your area beg their boss to do your house!! lol
