I compile and sell an annual quiz (5op ea) for church funds and wondered how I go about posting a copy on this site - is this o.k. to do and what method do other compilers use to get their money??

Yes, it's okay. You can post it here in quizzes and puzzles with a link to the quiz.

I've seen cash sellotaped to the letter as the most common method of payment but you could also use Paypal.

tollview, post details of how to obtain your quiz on the Quizzes and Puzzles Round Up 'sticky'.

Usually, setters give a postal address and ask quizzers to send the entry fee + s.a.e .. and/or an email address for an email copy - solvers will include payment when they return their entry.

Just noticed this post. I would have suggested opening the Editor's quizzes at top of page and looking to see how others advertise their quizzes. It is easy to miss an important detail, ie closing date or who to make cheques payable to and where to send for it. I know as I have accidentally missed things myself. However, you have it sorted so hope you make some extra money for your church funds.
