I got DREIDEL, being a Jewish top, and I see that 6 of the 7 letters of that come from "lieder possibly" but how is "Symbol for Schubert" equal to D ? Hope someone can help. Thanks in advance.

D followed by a number can indicate a composition by Franz Schubert according to the Schubert Thematic Catalogue by O. E. Deutsch
