Togo, please provide any evidence you think you have for these ridiculous assertions in your last post (remote monitoring of individual domestic appliances).

The smart meters communicate to their base by means of radio transmission, if that's what you mean by your convoluted explanation of "The meters are not even as secure as your router, and are enabled to be scanned remotely" - that's the purpose.

I'm not going to bother repeating the evidence I provided to you before as to the Governmental desire to have these things but, given today's announcements over Hinckley Point power station being delayed, it helps understand it.
