how good is the tomtom 700.thank you for any advice.how easy are they to use.

Got the tom tom 510 adn it is the bees knees ! has bluetooth for connecting ur phone and warns of 'safety' camera locations too. It is really simple to operate - I would assume the 700 is even better if that is possible.

pretty useless if ur trying to find a tube station!


i have a tomtom and is pretty good but the only prob is finding tube stations or even train stations in london!


Overall u cant go wrong with it - shows u points of interest, u can naavigate to postcodes, erm even get told what the road mileage is.


i got mine as a christmas pressie from the bf , saved me a few hundred, lol.

hi homer75.thank you very much for your reply.i see you have the 510 which is a new one that has just came out.the 700 is an older one.but i am sure it will be ok.

hi london hippo many thanks for your reply.do you just put in your postcode and the postcode to where you want to go to.lucky for me i wont need to use a tube station.

not you do not need to set ur own postcode it finds it for you. you can punch in the postcode of ur destination and u should be fine.
