For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.Your first step is to apply for Parental Responsibility order from the Court. The grandparents might object but to tell you the truth it's all they can do as the Courts pretty much grant them automatically now.
Once you get the Parental Responsibility you can then apply for resedency. That might take some fighting but you should remember that no matter how close your boy is to his grand parents, once you have P.R. your position is more important than that of his grand parents.
