Problem With Norton
Norton icon on taskbar is ticked but will only respond to a Rt click but then if any item on it is clicked, (eg Open Norton) the menu disappears. Later a Norton 'Error Found' screen appears and works on problem 8504.104 for hours but solves nothing. Meantime I cannot contact Norton.

In my case, I foolishly tried to install an additional malware program off the web which interfered with Norton and prevented me from opening the main interface. The removal of Norton via the tool and subsequent re-installation solved the problem

I'm glad you got it sorted. Remember that you can use the removal tool as many times as you like when you have a problem. It's far easier than head scratching - just delete and reinstall.
