That gives the best rates, takes the least etc. . . . .

Probably Alliance and Leicester - certainly for business savings

Alliance & Leicester offer free business banking for the first year. We've been with them for 9 months now and had a very good service from them so far.

if you are talking card transactions merchant acc. everyone seems to be using hsbc ;-)

Abbey. Free Banking forever provided you stay within their limits. Check their site. I am registered with them and also get interest credited. You cannot be overdrawn with this account though.
