They've zoomed in on the perch and the pair are both grooming themselves just now.

Like last year, the point at which I stopped bothering to check the website daily is when they show up. C'est la vie!

The dyfi chat room will be in overdrive. There's too many of the fluffy-bunny brigade on that site, for my liking. I, like Chris Packham find ospreys a bit boring.

I've never been tempted to use the chat room, myself. Just the process of website registration is usually enough to put me off some, otherwise useful, websites. I get enough spam email as it is. If Packham-esque musings aren't welcomed by the fluffy-bunny brigade then I'd probably not fit in, anyway.

Ospreys don't visit my area, so I do like to look in, every so often. The webcam saves me over 2 hours of single-carriageway driving (round trip), each time. That can be boring, stuck behind something, at 50mph.

They do not send spam emails from The DOP, Hypno. I like the chat because it means that I can ask questions, if I wish.

Thank you for posting those, Emeritus. They are fantastic photographs. Three different ospreys there but nevertheless, outstanding photography.

The pictures add up to a story but did you spot the continuity error?

The one with the red ring was identified this morning on the DOP chat. I have forgotten the details now. I'm sure they said ringed in 2001. That is an older osprey.......not bad, hey?
