The US made a big fuss when they caught him, showing the clip of the doctor sticking a lollypop stick in his mouth but since then .... Nothing. What are they doing? Surely they arent just interviewing him. They would be using truth drugs wouldnt they? Perhaps he's escaped and there too embarrased to admit it?

It has just been announced by the US authorities that they are treating Saddam as a prisoner of war, as he was head of the Iraqi armed forces. This possibly means that there will now be even less info about him, since undue publicity about a prisoner of war - eg TV images - may be a breach of the Geneva Conventions.

interesting that us soldiers captured and shown in a victory parade is seen as a breach of geneva, but saddam being given a medical exam live on the news isnt?
