Bought this product and it is impossible to use as the varnish is too thick. Do I return to the store Morrisons or to the manufacturer J M L

Since you seem to have tried to use it I suspect neither (unless it is unfit for purpose rather than a mistake on your part). You could try Morrisons, they may refund out of customer relations, but I suspect they wouldn't be keen.

if it is not fit for purpose, its covered by the sale of goods act and should be taken back to the shop you got it from together with proof of purchase if you have it.
