Divagirl, Are You There Please.? Or Anyone Who Knows About Guppies.?
I have a very large female guppy in my tank and another smaller one, think must be male, is really harnessing her. This has been going on for days now. So today I bought a breeding tank to put her in away from him. However she is going frantic to get out of it. And I am worried it will do her harm. The other two are constantly at the side or bottom of her tank trying to get to her. Should I leave her in there or take her out.? Many thanks

It is normal for male guppies to harness females. That is why you should have plenty of plants in your tank for her to hide. Do you have plants in you tank ? Then if no, go buy some and then when you think there is enough for the female to hide, you can let her go. Don't take too long because fish don't like being closed in small places like breeding boxes.
