I'm looking for a fairly softish yarn to knit the precious babe and heir some cardies. The heir to my vast fortune has quite sensitive skin at the moment he has eczema so nothing to irritate that and no ridiculous prices either
Any ideas?

Apart from special projects I have always used an Acrylic DK, washes beautifully and keeps softness and shape.

Available anywhere and in all shades.
Ideas of shades etc here and looks like an offer on too...

Baby yarns are very soft also anything with Merino in. If you don't mind going chunky there are also quite a few jersey yarns available now. The softer yarns will be more expensive though.
Hi, Ric....as Ratty says look at Merino wool.......it seems to be the best for anyone with skin problems.....have a google of knitting wool and allergies...x
