Does anyone know what the number is that you type in to show your phones' ID number. I think it's something like #10#. I've tried that but it doesn't work. Can you help please?

lost a mobile or had it stolen and reported it
the uninterested policeman [so it must have been years and years ago] asked for the INEI number and I said:
"Oh that is the one where you plug in hash oh six something number ?"

and he looked at me as tho I was completely out of it or off my head and said in a fatigued world weary way: " No, Sir, the number I want is much longer than that ..... "
