If you want to transport a riser recliner chair, can you just pick it up and put in in a van or does it have to be taken apart?

It would depend on the size of the van.

You can just transport it...but they are heavy and awkward, so, as alavahalf says, it would depend on you being able to fit it in the van.

Thanks. I was just wondering as I was once told that the mechanism can be damaged unless the chair is dismantled before carriage.

mum and dads came all assembled no probs
