Removing adverts from home recorded DVD's

If I record a TV programme onto DVD using my TV DVD recorder is there a freeware programme that will allow me to edit out the commercials using the PC DVD player and then re-record back to a DVD?

If there is can you point me to it?

i'm sure there is freeware version of that sort of problem, but cant imagine they'll be much cop. i use this and i've tryed a few and this is the best by far. download the demo before you buy and see what you think. http://www.videoredo.com/
