Try looking here if none of those look familiar, have a scout round on Google.
My only other suggestion is to go to your nearest fish shop in the morning and ask their opinion.
Good luck, hope he survives the night

hello,
sorry to hear about your fish!
my fish did that but then when i came close it would swim the right way again.it also had the same thing as yours but the white fluffy stuff was on top of it's head. i tried using something called maracyn you put the tablet it some water for it to dissolve then you pour it in to the fish tank. i got mine from ebay its quite cheap but its only available in usa as far as i know.
it sort of worked for me but then it came back again and this time wouldn't go away. i think that it was just a diseased fish to begin with when i got it from the pet store it didn't look as lively as the others but silly me felt sorry for it and bought the fish anyway! thats why you should pick your goldfish carefully (unlike me).
oh and i know hoe you feel boo the same goldfish died last saturday after having it for two years!
hope this helps
