Thursday. A clear sky but quite a thick frost. Are sure this is the end of April?

Tiggy didn't stay out long. The temperature dropped quite rapidly after sunset. We had some hail yesterday, it didn't last long though.

Hospice this morning. looking forward to that.

Yes it does indeed minty. It slows down the need for a proper sharpening, to the point where you don't really notice. I always sharpen mine on a nice summer day, out in the back garden, with a pint at elbow. :o}

I do have problems with keeping a really good edge on my knives but then maybe I want sharper then some people as I expect them to finely slice things. not going to worry about it.

they are best sharpened on a stone with patience (I know if she is around)..

It's worth getting them done LJ. If you don't have a steel, I recommend getting a stainless steel one. It really does work, if you use it often. But as I've said, it won't sharpen them. That needs doing properly.

That's right LJ. It takes time, hence the pint at elbow but it's worth it.
